Biography: Judy Devall, station manager
Judy Devall, station manager of MidValley Television, a public, educational and government television station, has 16 years experience in television production.
At MVTV, Devall manages all aspects of the public access station on Charter Cable channel 9. She handles all budgeting, public relations, promotions, fund raising, equipment research, and purchase and installation. She also acts as a telecommunications liaison and trains community producers.
Devall has an extensive background in television production. In 1994, she was a municipal producer for YCTV. She produced, directed, and wrote hundreds of productions throughout her employment. In 1990, she was the production instructor for the Yakima Valley Skills Center. While working there, she produced television programs and worked with students in all phases of television production. She was also a public relations liaison with the Yakima School District personnel and community. Devall has also held positions with KAPP TV Channel 35 as promotion/programming/public affairs manager, and interned at KYVE Channel 47 and KNDO TV Channel 23.
Devall’s post graduate education focused on the arts and sciences of television, drama and new technologies and programs.
